DEPT Ι / TAX CONSULTANCY - TAXATION ISSUES

  • This Department studies, examines, analyses and makes proposals on the appropriate provisions and the margins provided by the tax legislation in order to find solutions to problems.
  • It also participates in implementation of proposals and formulation thereof in written form to achieve practical resolution of various issues so they can be closed off. All alternatives are explored.

The Department seeks to ensure that each business or organization operates completely in line with the tax legislation in order to avoid the imposition of sanctions.

DEPT ΙΙ / GENERAL ACCOUNTING ISSUES

This Department deals with:

  • Organizing accounting systems
  • Implementing the Chart of Accounts
  • Organizing internal auditing systems

DEPT ΙΙΙ / INDEPENDENT COST ACCOUNTING ISSUES

This Department deals with:

DEPT ΙV / AUDITING ISSUES

This Department deals with:

DEPT V / INTERNATIONAL ACCOUNTING STANDARDS

The specialty staff of our company undertakes the optional or obligatory implementation of International Accounting Standards for companies of Public Sector and in parallel keeps the Accounting Science and Financial Statements as by International Accounting Standards enacted.

DEPT VI / LABOUR RELATIONS ISSUES

This Department is responsible for:

DEPT IX / ACCOUNTS OFFICE COMPUTERIZATION

B. KARAOGLOU S.A. undertakes to switch accounts offices over to computerized systems. It does so in the most responsible manner since it goes without saying that all its proposals are not only implemented using the best computer systems but have also been fully checked in relation to taxation issues by a respected team of tax consultants.

This allows the company to undertake:

  • The design of and provide guidance about computerization and to monitor work until the entire system is in place and in operation.
  • The design for the company computerized systems.
  • Application configuration.
  • Conversion of hand-kept accounting book systems into fully computerized systems.
  • Coding such as:
    • Chart of accounts coding (fully in line with the Greek General Chart of Accounts and the provisions relating to VAT, as well as fully in line with customer needs)

Moreover, it is also able to promote software and hardware products since it is an authorised consultant dealer for the following software development companies: ALTEC, SINGULAR, LOGICDIS, and, among others.

DEPT XI / SEMINARS AND TRAINING

Α. SEMINARS

B. KARAOGLOU S.A. is involved in the planning, organization and running of training seminars dealing with accounting, taxation, legal and computerization issues, among other things.

  • A large number of seminars have been successfully organized and hosted by a fully-trained team of instructors, who in many cases were leading officials from the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of National Economy and the Ministry of Commerce, etc.
  • Moreover, in-house seminars have also been held in line with course programming and special teams of company officers from various business sectors have been trained.

Seminars and personnel training facilities For this reason there is a tailored seminar room for staff training, 60 person capacity, with the most contemporary equipment and machinery (projector, laptop, micro phonic facilities e.t.c.)

DEPT XIII / ORGANIZATION & PREPARATION OF COMPANY FILES FOR LISTING ON ASE

B. KARAOGLOU S.A. team up with companies whose sole activity is to prepare other companies for listing on any of the various markets comprising the Athens Exchange.
A significant number of companies have assigned B.KARAOGLOU SA the task of preparing all documentation for listing on the Athens Exchange and it is the sole company in Northern Greece active in this sector, collaborating with the large brokerage and securities firms in Greece.
